Additional cuts for Imperia pasta machines come in two categories: Simplex and Duplex. Simplex cuts are single cuts; i.e. the accessory is designed to make only one type of pasta cut (e.g. guitar pasta only). The Duplex cut, on the other hand, is designed to enclose within it two types of cuts

Also available is the Imperia Pasta Facile motor, which allows the machine to be used without the aid of a hand crank.
