NOSTER ROOF is an innovative high penetration water-repellent consolidating treatment based on the new Nanotech technology. It has the same application as the more famous Fila Salvaterrazza.

It is designed to consolidate and protect the surfaces of terraces, balconies, facades, floors by saturating the microporosity of the substrate. It repairs cracks, fissures and micro-cracks up to 1 millimetre in size.
Moreover, through the nanoparticles contained in the new Nanotech formula, NOSTER ROOF penetrates deeply (in cracks up to 10-20 cm), forms no film and does not alter the appearance of the surface.

Nano particles are arranged on the surface and create an invisible, water-repellent, weather-resistant barrier that does not inhibit substrate transpiration in any way. The treatment prevents water percolation, the formation of mould and efflorescence. It consolidates and protects joints in depth.

Indicative yield: 5-15 square metres per litre of product. The yield varies depending on the porosity of the material to be treated.

Suitable for all materials: terracotta, ceramic, stoneware, clinker, stone, porphyry, concrete, agglomerates, bricks, roofs.

The product is ready to use. When the surface is dry and clean, apply the product with a brush or roller, insisting on the most absorbent areas, so as to allow any porosity to be impregnated. in the presence of highly absorbent materials, a second coat should be applied 8-12 hours after the first.

After 10-30 minutes, if necessary, depending on the degree of penetration and the outside temperature, any excess product can be wiped off with a cloth, possibly soaked in white spirit. Alternatively, the surface can be washed with suitably diluted N-BOND strong detergent 48 hours after application.

Surface Preparation

Before treatment, in the case of tiled surfaces, seal any cracks and grout damaged tile joints beforehand. In addition, carry out a thorough detergent wash to remove possible traces of smog and dirt and to avoid the formation of unsightly patinas. Then allow the surface to cure perfectly before treatment.

 

Precautions for use

Apply the NOSTER ROOF protect balcony roof terraces only on dry, non-rainy days, at temperatures between 10 °C and 25 °C. In addition, protect plants and aluminium and glass surfaces beforehand.

Application is not recommended in the presence of high rising damp and on surfaces with persistent water stagnation due to insufficient structural slope. In general, the product does not alter the colour of surfaces, but on some types of natural stone it can give a brightening effect.

It is recommended to work in adequately ventilated rooms and to wear suitable protective masks and gloves. Close containers after use.

Store in a cool, dry place and away from sources of heat and direct light.
