Yes, this can happen when the machine is used for a long time. It is a natural situation, as the sealing bar is equipped with an electrical resistance that heats up at high temperatures. Over time, it can therefore lose its effectiveness.

There are two very practical solutions that can be implemented in the event that the supplied sealing bar no longer works properly. The first is to reprogramming the machine's electronic board with a longer welding time. In fact, if the sealing bar loses impact (is getting damaged but is still partially functional), extending the sealing cycle time can still achieve good results for a while longer. 1. To change the set welding power, connect the device to the mains supply
2. Press and release the welding button 10 times within 10 seconds
3. Press and release the green run button as many times as the desired time/power units. If pressing the run switch the first time starts the suction function, switch off the machine and repeat the programming procedure
4. Wait 10 seconds without pressing the buttons or disconnect the appliance from the mains, (this will save the settings)
5. Do not set more than 9 power units, the Teflon tape on the sealing bar could be damaged beyond this threshold.
