Reber long-life engine lubricating oil bottle 1073A specifically for lubricating the gears of Reber electric motors but also suitable for other appliances.

The quality of this oil is as follows: B.GEAR ATOX 680 USDA-H11. This is a semi-synthetic oil for lubricating gears and mechanisms of food industry equipment. For accidental contact with food, it is non-toxic.

 

How to proceed in the case of a complete oil change and when opening the engine flange

All Reber gearmotors are fitted with a flange and cover. The cover has a hole from which the larger gear emerges. This gear is in fact housed and protected by a rubber oil seal with a steel core. A gasket is placed between the flange and the flange cover to prevent oil from escaping.

These gaskets are consumables that often spoil over time and tend to weld with metal parts. When the lid is opened, therefore, it is always advisable to replace the gaskets with new ones.

Product description

The oil in bottle 1073A is ideal for gearmotors that are used for food applications. In fact, it guarantees high lubrication performance, thanks to its high viscosity. Moreover, if it accidentally comes into contact with food, it is not dangerous.

In addition, this oil has specifications properties that reduce the noise typical of internal engine gears.

It can be used with all REBER motors but also with motors of other makes.

The bottle contains about 100 grams of oil.

 

How is it used?

REBER Long-life engine lubricating oil bottle 1073A can be used for topping up (1/4 or 1/2 bottle) or for full replacement (whole bottle).

Do not overuse because the machines do not need an excessive amount of oil. Therefore, if you proceed with a full replacement by opening the front engine cover, make sure that you have removed all the previous oil. If, on the other hand, you are only topping up, unscrew the upper engine cap (red or black) and allow the oil to pour in.

If you open the front engine flange cover, we always recommend changing the outer oil seal and also the flange gasket. Indeed, with heat and work these rubber seals lose their properties and tend to stick to the mounts. Once opened, therefore, it is advisable to replace them.

If you are topping up oil on Reber motors No. 3 code 9600Njust use 1/4 or 1/8 of the contents of the bottle. Putting in more oil creates overheating and seal problems!

On the other hand, if you are topping up oil on engines No. 5 code 9601N, 9602N, 9603N simply insert 1/4 or 1/2 of the contents of the bottle.

Finally, if you are replacing oil, for engines No.3 code 9600N just use 1/2 bottle; for larger engines No.5 use half or a full bottle.

 

Please note: bottle contents

The plastic bottle in this advertisement can hold a maximum of 100 grams, i.e. 100 millilitres. This volume and weight refer to water. The oil in this advertisement is much lighter than water, as everyone knows. Therefore, the total weight of the bottle may be less than 100 grams.

• It should be used for topping up in the event of an oil leak. It is recommended not to exceed the quantity. In the event of a total oil change, it is recommended to remove all old residue and also replace the outer oil seal and flange gasket.
