Description
Reber's aluminium slicers for household use represent a well-made and competitively priced product.
In fact, these electric slicers are characterised by a sturdy structure but at the same time with curved, modern lines.
The design project also allows a easy cleaning with normal, mild kitchen detergents.
I professionally-derived fan motors allow this electric slicer for household use a excellent success in every application. The power of the motors is commensurate with the size of the blade, but already with the smaller models it is possible to cut quite seasoned products.
In fact, all this guarantees a good power outputfor slicing all medium-hard and small sausages, with an excellent level of silence, also thanks to the belt drive.
The base of the Reber slicer is painted with a special food-grade material that reproduces the colour effects of steel. This makes the product unique and makes it particularly interesting from a design point of view. All parts are made of die-cast aluminium.
Further technical information
The blade is also well spaced from the engine. With the engine strictly switched off, you have the necessary space to be able to carry out cleaning or to be able to remove any residue that makes slicing further foodstuffs uncomfortable.
The smaller 200 mm and 220 mm blade models are not equipped with a sharpener. This can be purchased separately on request. Conversely, the models with a 250 mm, 275 mm and 300 mm blade are equipped with a fixed sharpener. The sharpening stones are in fact placed under the dome at the top of the blade. Despite this, the blades of all slicers are already sharpened. With normal home use the sharpener is not necessary.
We recommend greasing the blades after each use with cooking oil. In fact, the profile of the blade is made of ferrous steel (otherwise it would not cut). This, however, can cause rust. By oiling the blade, however, it will be protected against rust. To do this, simply wet a piece of paper towel with cooking oil and grease the entire edge of the blade. We strongly recommend the use of anti-cutting work gloves and special care to avoid injury.
